Work Station Jib Cranes

Gorbel work station jib cranes use an enclosed track design that keeps trolley rolling surfaces clean, reduces boom dead weight, and allows smoother load positioning than traditional I-beam jibs. Available in free standing and wall or column mounted configurations, workstation jibs handle capacities up to 1,000 lbs with spans to 16 feet — sized for ergonomic tool and part handling at individual workstations and assembly cells.

Free Standing Work Station Jib Crane
Free Standing Work Station Jibs — WSJ360

Floor-mounted with 360° rotation. Bolts directly to existing concrete in most installations without a special foundation. Capacities to 1,000 lbs with spans up to 16 feet.

Wall Mounted Work Station Jib Crane
Wall & Column Mounted Work Station Jibs — WSJ200

Wall or column mounted with 200° rotation. Cantilevered design maximizes hoist lift height. Capacities to 1,000 lbs with spans up to 16 feet. No floor footprint required.

Portable Base Work Station Jib Crane
Portable Base Work Station Jibs

WSJ360 configured with a portable base for relocation by forklift or pallet jack. Moves between workstations without floor penetration or reinstallation.

The Work Station Advantage over I-Beam Jibs

  • Easier boom rotation — the enclosed track steel truss design weighs less per foot than a traditional I-beam boom, making rotation smoother and less fatiguing for operators over the course of a shift.
  • Precise load positioning — lubricated-for-life sealed trolley bearings and extremely low rolling resistance allow operators to spot loads accurately without fighting the crane.
  • Longer trolley life — the enclosed track keeps rolling surfaces protected from debris, chips, and contamination that wear down open-flange trolley wheels in I-beam cranes.
  • Pre-engineered for powered hoists — hoist trolleys are included; 15% of jib capacity is reserved for the hoist, trolley, and below-the-hook device, with an additional 25% impact allowance covering hoist speeds up to 50 fpm.
