The ReFlx 45 is a single-stop action infrared (IR) crane collision avoidance system. This single sensor / single target system is most commonly used to stop overhead crane bridges, trolleys, and monorails and prevent collisions or limit the approach of adjacent structures.

The ReFlx 120 uses a 2-channel single infrared light sensor to detect the distance between two objects. It is most commonly used in applications requiring only a stop command however the two-channels in the sensor allow a primary stop and an emergency redundant stop.

LaserGuard 2

Magnetek's LaserGuard 2 Collision Avoidance System measures the distance between the laser unit's lens and its companion retro-reflective target by means of pulse ranging technology that allows for very accurate measurements and energy efficiency. This type of communications link has very high noise immunity and provides the necessary accuracy to measure distances from 8 inches to 150 feet. The laser has a visible light beam, which makes system alignment very easy.
