Example 1 – 10 Ton Top Running Single Girder Bridge Crane

Our customer was building a new facility to expand on their welding business. TSOC fabricated, supplied, and installed an engineered runway and overhead crane to meet the specific needs of the customer. Once the runway structure was in place our TSOC fabricators and technicians installed the 60-pound ASCE rail, conductor bar, and 10-Ton overhead bridge crane. The Harrington low headroom hoist allows the customer extra lift height while concurrently keeping the fast lift speeds to meet the high production cycle times. TSOC used a H4+ duty rating hoist allowing the welding business to meet the high demand of their customers.

Example 2 - 10 Ton Single Girder Top Running Bridge Crane

• Single Girder Top Running Bridge Crane.
• 44 ft. – 0 in Span.
• R&M Spacemaster wire rope hoist.
• Hoist provided with VFD Controls.
• Installation was done by our TSOC Crane crew.

Example 3 - 10 Ton Overhead Crane System with 4 Single Girder Bridge Cranes

• (4) 45 foot span, 10 ton Top Running Single Girder Cranes designed, engineered, & manufactured by TSOC.
• R&M 2-speed hoist w/ VFD trolley.
• VFD bridge travel.
• Anti-collision included on all cranes to keep cranes from operating in the same 10 ton bay.
• Radio control with backup pendants.
• 350 feet total of haunch-supported runway.
• Mechanical & electrical installation, plus load test, by TSOC technicians.

Example 4 - 10 Ton Double Girder Crane with Dual Hoist Arrangement

• Double Girder Top Running Bridge Crane with (2) 5 Ton Hoist.
• 44 ft. – 0 in Span.
• Class "C" Indoor Usage.
• R&M Spacemaster Wire Rope Hoist.
• Hoist provided with VFD Controls.
• VFD Control Bridge.
• Installation was done by our TSOC Crane crew.

Example 5 - 10-Ton Single Girder Top Running Crane with Runway Extension

• 10-Ton Capacity.
• 27.5 ft. - 0 in. bridge span with and overall runway length of 118 ft. - 8 in.
• 10-ton R&M Spacemaster Wire Rope Hoist.
• 2-Step VFD control for all crane motions.
• Flex 6EX2 Wireless Radio Remote Controls with (wired pendant controls used for backup crane control).
• TSOC crew installed the existing runway and columns.
• TSOC fabricated and installed 65 ft. - 2.0 in. of runway extension with columns on the north side of the runway and another 49 ft. - 2.0 in. of runway extension with columns on the south side of the runway.
• TSOC installed new ASCE 40-pound rail.
• Duct-O-Wire 8-bar crane electrification installed.
• All columns were set as per drawings with zero deviation using Hilti chemical anchors.
• TSOC crew load tested the crane to 125% capacity and performed the commissioning inspection.
• TSOC provided crane training for the crane operators.
• TSOC installed six 1-ton jib cranes and two 2-ton jib cranes with Harrington Air Hoists.
• TSOC removed and replaced the main rotating load bearings in all eight jib cranes.

Example 6 – 10 Ton Top Running Double Girder Bridge Crane

• 10 Ton Top Running Double Girder Bridge Crane.
• 38 ft. Span.
• 2-spd R&M Spacemaster Wire Rope Hoist.
• VFD Controlled Bridge and Trolley Motion.
• Inmotion radio remote.
• 15 ton TSOC provided runway.
• 181 ft. 2 in. overall runway length.
• Runway support centers were custom to account for tie-in's for bldg. columns, walkway clearances and machine obstructions.
• One vertical runway column tied into the building roof beam due to mezzanine and machine duct obstructions we couldn't get around otherwise.
• Custom runway cantilever was designed to provide maximum hook coverage and machine coverage.
• Header beams were designed on both ends of the runway – one side tying into the building columns – to provide adequate runway loadings support.
• 90-Amp Duct-O-Wire Conductor Bar Runway Electrification.
• Installation was done by our TSOC Crane crew.
