How many buttons does a crane pendant station need?

Button count depends on the number of crane motions being controlled. A basic hoist-only application requires 2 buttons (up/down). Adding trolley travel requires 4 buttons. Bridge travel adds another 2, bringing a standard bridge crane to 6 buttons. Additional buttons are used for speed control, on/off switching, and emergency stop functions. Most standard overhead crane applications are served by 4 to 8 button configurations.
